Brush of Hope, a non-governmental organization, has painted the Kweikuma STMA JHS to enhance the school’s image and give it a stylish refresh.

According to Matilda Youpele, the Co- Founder of the organization, the goal, is to paint 48 schools or more across Ghana by 2028.

She said the project, aims to address the pressing need for a fresh coat of paint and a more welcoming learning environment for schools in the Western Region and beyond.

She explained that the Kweikuma STMA JHS was selected as the first beneficiary of the project, since it is within the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis.

“The initiative’s vision is to elevate the educational experience for students across the nation by improving the physical spaces where they learn” Ms. Youpele said.

“This is to create spaces that inspire learning, foster creativity, and promote a sense of belonging among students”.

She called on local businesses, organizations, individuals among others to support the initiative of the organization.

“Your contributions, will be essential in bringing this vision to life and making a significant difference in the lives of countless students as it aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4, which emphasizes the importance of inclusive and quality education for all” she added.

‘We recognize that the learning environment is crucial for achieving this goal, however by revitalizing schools through painting, the project aims to enhance their appearance while investing in the future of the children and the nation as a whole”, she concluded.
