In a forum titled “The 700 Million Christian Market: Accessing Africa’s Largest Consumer Group,” the forum explored various aspects of this Christian consumer market, including income, purchasing preferences, and strategies to engage with this growing demographic.

Present at the event was Dr. Juliete Ehimuan, Africa’s renowned digital technologist and former inaugural Director of Google West Africa. In her keynote address, she emphasized the market’s significance and potential. It’s a group worth connecting with in a deliberate way, and it’s projected to grow to a billion by 2050. This presents a substantial opportunity for organizations and brands.”

According to her, data-driven insights about this expanding demographic have been sparse. “This is why we undertook a qualitative and anecdotal study to learn about this expanding demographic. Understanding the attributes of the Christian consumer market will help a range of service providers tailor offerings that better serve them,” she added.
