24 needy but brilliant students get support from ASA Savings & Loans

The Ashanti South Division of ASA Savings and Loans has supported 24 needy but brilliant students in the Bekwai and Santasi areas of the company.

The students were selected from Boete, Obuasi, Kunka Newton, Ahodwo, Atonso, Kotwi, Bantama, Jachie and Santasi.

In all, a cheque amount of 16,800 was presented. Each student received a cheque amount of 700 cedis and were selected from the basic to the JHS levels.

The Area Managers for Bekwai and Santasi, Mr Samuel Orange Sakai and Mr Francis Gyabeng respectively, admonished the brilliant beneficiaries to keep to their studies to excel academically.

Madam Abigail Serwaa, one of the parents of the beneficiary students, was grateful to the company for such kind gesture.

The Divisional Manager, Mr Mithu Debnath, said this forms part of the company’s corporate social responsibility and emphasized on the company’s commitment to given back to society.
