Ridge Royal Hotel is Outstanding Hospitality Facility of the Year 2021

The Ridge Royal Hotel Limited, a four-star hospitality facility in Cape Coast, has been presented with the Outstanding Hospitality of the Year 2021 award at the ninth edition of the Made-In-Ghana Awards recently at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.

The facility was recognised as an indigenous hospitality service provider and pride of Ghana, providing premium quality service in an effort to reduce the cedi depreciation and bulk repatriation of profit by foreign companies.

The award is also in recognition of the hotel’s continuous improvements in innovation and quality of service, and the best for the local market that meets international standards.

The award scheme, which was put together by the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana, was on the theme: ‘Ghana Beyond Imports’, and primarily to honour and unveil top 50 Ghana’s most celebrated, valuable and iconic brands with the title: ‘Top 50 Made-in-Ghana Iconic Brands 2022 Honours’ in all the sectors of the economy.

The Top 50 Made-in-Ghana Iconic Brands 2022 is a campaign to seek the pride of indigenous and most celebrated iconic manufacturing industries to create awareness, and also to promote, advertise and market quality manufactured products and industries that have exhibited excellence in manufacturing practices and standards.

Commenting on the award after the presentation, the General Manager of Ridge Royal Hotel, Sam Aduama, said to be recognised as the Outstanding Hospitality Facility of the Year comes with a lot of challenges to maintain or improve upon the services of the hotel.

“As a hotel with this recognition, we must spare no effort to live up to the expectation of our quests and ensure that we do things right, particularly in the area of quality service and regulatory compliance, as well as being persistent with our vision and mission to merit this recognition,” he stressed.

Mr. Aduama finally dedicated the award to all shareholders of the hotel, employees, as well as regular guests of the hotel for their loyalty to the Ridge Royal brand.

Ridge Royal Hotel, a four-star hotel in Cape Coast, is located in a well-secure environment at Number 1, 2nd Ridge, and easily accessible two minutes off the Accra-Takoradi (N1) Highway. 10 minutes’ drive to the City Centre, connecting to lots of tourist sites.

Room configurations include 2 Executive Chalets, 5 Executive Royal Suites, 11 Standard Chalets, 60 standard rooms, and 1 room specially fixed for the physically challenged.

All rooms are equipped with an African decorated furniture, comfortable king-sized bed, unique designed bathroom that speaks to the guests’ personal taste, air condition, hair dryer, mini bar and electronic safe deposit box.

The main restaurant serves à la carte menu, grills & buffet, and both international and traditional Ghanaian cuisine, with available room service on guests’ request.

The hotel lounge is the place to be with friends and business partners anytime of the day while surfing the Internet. The hotel serves appetising snacks and branded beverages and cocktails. The evening lightening and music is to relax both body and mind through a wide range of services


The hotel has two exceptional conference halls equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment designed for flexibility with moveable walls, thus creating outdoor effect with seating capacity ranging from ten persons up to banqueting for 120 persons, and 180 persons theatre set-ups.
