Regent University College of Science and Technology has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Universidad Católica de Murcia (UCAM), Spain.
UCAM is a private university with 20 years of history and more than 16,000 students, offering 33 prominent European official Bachelor’s, 45 Master’s and 66 doctorate lines of research amongst other prestigious titles
UCAM is ranked 10th in Europe for Quality of Education by the Times Higher Education University Teaching Rankings 2019.
According to U-multirank, a project funded by the EU to measure the quality of universities around the world, focusing mainly in Europe, UCAM is ranked 1st in Europe in Psychology, Computer Science, Engineering and in Dentistry. The university is also ranked among the top 30 Universities in Business Administration and Management, Telecommunication, Systems Engineering as well as the Top 70 Universities offering Medicine in Europe.
The collaboration agreement will facilitate the international exchange of ideas and research between both institutions, as well as faculty and student exchanges to promote teaching and learning between Regent University College of Science and Technology and Universidad Católica de Murcia.
As part of the agreement, UCAM has granted RUCST authorization to offer the following postgraduate programmes:
- Diplomacy and International Trade
- PGDip/MSc. Distance and Open Education
- Energy and Sustainable Development
- Enterprise Risk and Business Transformation,
- PGCert/PGDip/MSc Regulation and Compliance Management.
- Law and Corporate Administration,
- Executive MBA with options,
- /MPhil. Management with options
The agreement was fully executed on April 25, 2020, by the President of Universidad Católica de Murcia, José Luis Mendoza Pérez, and the founder and Ag. President of RUCST, Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Kingsley Larbi.
Regent University College was ranked the second best private university in Ghana in the January 2020 Webometrics Ranking of World Universities. Also in the 2011, Webometrics Ranking, Regent was ranked the 3rd best university in Ghana.
