Ghanaian beads, a staple during marriage ceremonies, embody unity, love and cultural heritage.

In a bid to revive and promote the use of our local beaded jewellery in modern traditional marriage ceremonies, Selina Beb, in collaboration with Quophi Akotuah, proudly presents Awareso – The Traditional Ghanaian Bride campaign!

This dazzling new collection showcases Kente gowns paired with intricate, historically-rich, stunning beads. A careful selection of beads, including trade beads, Aggry beads, Krobo beads and coral beads, have resulted in a sensational collection you will love to own.

Our mission is to inspire future traditional brides to proudly embrace our heritage and be ‘Adorned in Tradition!’ With Awareso, we demonstrate the exquisite way that our locally-beaded jewellery perfectly complements modern Kente gowns. Future traditional brides can look forward to looking regal, divine and truly beautiful in our iconic pieces.

With love, dedication and research, we crafted the pieces in this campaign and we’re thrilled to share them with you! Explore the collection and experience the beauty of Ghanaian tradition.
