In partnership with the Spanish Embassy in Accra and the Ghana Embassy in Madrid, Made In Ghana Consulting Ltd will host Made in Ghana Europe Trade Show and Festival in Madrid come August.
According to the organisers, Madrid has been chosen to host the trade show, conferences and Arts/Tourism Expo to feature products and services by Ghanaian entrepreneurs from Ghana and across Europe.
This was disclosed by a Director of Made in Ghana Consulting Ltd, Tony Bonsu, after a fruitful meeting of his organisation and the Spanish Embassy in Accra. “The festival expects to attract members of Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA), Spain-Ghana Chamber of Commerce, as well as businesses owned by Ghanaians in all 26 countries of the European Union”, says Mr. Bonsu.
It seeks to be the preferred reference point for Ghana’s biggest players in business, tourism, arts and culture, hints Mr. Bonsu.
Asked what the key goals of the festival are, Mr. Bonsu says “It aims at amplifying Ghana’s trade- exhibition of products & services, our culture: Ghana-Spain intercultural relations, and the best of our talent.”
According to Tony Bonsu, Madrid, the capital of Spain was selected to host the continent-wild version of the festival for its vantage location and hospitality.
Made in Ghana Europe, which is organised by Made In Ghana Consulting Ltd, is in collaboration with the Ghana Embassy in Madrid, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture, the Spanish Embassy in Accra, Casa África and Spain-Ghana Chamber of Commerce (SGCC).
