ASA Savings and Loans supports 19 students in the Bono Region

The Sunyani Area of ASA Savings and Loans Limited has supported 19 brilliant but needy students in the Bono Region with a cheque for GH¢13,300.00 to support their educational needs.

The students were selected from communities such as Fiapre, Penkwase, Abesim and Sunyani. Each student, received a cheque for GH¢700 to support them at the Basic level.

The Sunyani Area Manager for ASA, Mr. Isaac Agyapong, encouraged the beneficiaries to take their studies so they can excel.

He said education, healthcare and women empowerment is the core concern of the company in terms of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

The Branch Manager, Mr. Charles Kweku Akpenor, said this forms part of the company’s CSR and emphasized on the company’s commitment to given back to society.

Madam Emilia Boadi, a parent of the beneficiary students, was grateful to the company for such a kind gesture. “This, has really relief us some of our burden for this academic year”.

A beneficiary student, Rachelle Oppong Pokuaa, on behalf of the beneficiaries, assured ASA Savings and Loans Ltd that they will make good use of the support.
