Its primary purpose is to take a break from the constant connectivity and screen-time that has become a significant part of modern life.

During a technology-fast, we typically disconnect from the Internet, refrain from using social media, email and other digital platforms, and limit our use of electronic devices. The duration of such a fast may vary, ranging from a few hours to several days or even weeks. The specific rules and goals of a technology-fast can also vary from person to person, as we choose to tailor our digital detox experience to our needs and preferences.
