As part of this year’s Global Customer Service Week, clients of StarLife Assurance – one of the leading life insurance companies in the country – have benefitted from free health screening.

The health screening, which was held at the Accra and Kumasi Customer Experience Centres of StarLife, saw clients of the company and members of the general public being screened for kidney function, thyroid, eye diseases, body mass index, blood pressure, urine, blood flow, etc.

Speaking in Accra during the medical screening, a Customer Experience and Digital Operations Supervisor at StarLife Assurance, Edwina Holm-Nortey, said the health of clients is the company’s major business priority as a life insurance company – since a healthy client means a thriving business. “Solid partnership is caring about the health of our clients. This exercise is our special way of assisting our clients and the general public to receive medical care and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

“We will continue encouraging our clients to take their health seriously and embark on regular check-ups in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle,” she added.

Dr. Stephanie Bosompim of the Lapaz Community Hospital, Accra, and Dr. Andrew Vormawor Panyin of the Pima Medical Centre, Kumasi, led the medical teams from both medical facilities and encouraged clients of StarLife and the general public to take their health seriously in order to fully enjoy their insurance policies. She commended StarLife for prioritising the health of their clients during this year’s Global Customer Service Week.

About 200 clients were screened, and most attendees expressed satisfaction and appreciation for the free health screening. According to one client: “It was a really good exercise, and the doctors have given me some good feedback on my health that I will take seriously. We look forward to more of these and more from StarLife”.
