Adepa, the masked performer, was crowned winner for season nine of the MTN Hitmaker music reality show after 13 weeks of competition.
She walked away with the much envied prize of GHC120,000, a 12-month record label deal as well as souvenirs, beating her counterparts Kobby Tuesday, GabiNova and Achiaa.
Kobby Tuesday, GabiNova and Achia also walked away with GHC20,000, GHC15,000 and GHC10,000 respectively as well as souvenirs.
Hosted by TV Personality and Media guru, Anita Erskine, and Sika Osei with musical performances from KiDi, Kuame Eugene, Mr. Drew, Yaw Berk etc, the grande finale was attended by friends and loved ones of finalists, enthusiasts of the MTN hitmaker and the media.
Beatmaker Mix Master Garzy was also declared the Beat Maker of the Season for his spectacular work. He received GhC10,000 cash prize and a plaque to serve as a testament for his effort.
The MTN Hitmaker season nine was themed “Unlock Your Flow”.
