…reopens some branches

Enterprise Group has urged its clients to make use of the company’s efficient digital and electronic channels to access its products and services, even as it is set to open some of its branches following lifting of the partial lockdown.

From today, May 4, Enterprise Group will be reopening some of its branches across the country. Branches in Koforidua, Sunyani, Takoradi, Tamale; and in Kumasi, the Ahodwo branch; and in Accra, the High Street, Airport, Ridge and Tema branches will be open for business.

A statement from the company said: “In accordance with lifting of the ban on restricted movements, Enterprise Group will embark on a phased opening of branches. This indicates that not all branches will be readily accessible to the general public during this period”.

The statement added that while introducing a number of measures to keep their premises safe and help stem spread of COVID-19, clients will be required to wear face masks and have their temperature checked before entry. In addition, only a limited number of people will be allowed into the branch at any particular time, in adherence to social distancing requirements.
Commenting on the measures, Chief Executive Officer of the Enterprise Group, Keli Gadzekpo, acknowledged that some of the measures introduced might delay service within the branch; however, he stressed they have become necessary as the country fights to control spread of the virus.

“While the shadow of COVID-19 still looms over the world, our digital and electronic channels remain the safest means for our clients to conduct business with us. However, for clients who still prefer to be physically present in our offices, these measures are absolutely necessary in order to keep our premises safe for both staff and clients.

“We advise those who choose to visit our branches to please check our social media pages and see which particular branches are open before setting out. We appeal for all our clients to cooperate and comply with these measures so that together we can beat this invisible enemy,” Mr. Gadzekpo said.

In addition to these measures, hand sanitisers and soap and water will be provided at all Enterprise Group branches for clients. While Enterprise Group puts in place measures to ensure the safety of its clients and staff, the business would like to encourage the general public to stay safe by observing safety protocols shared by the Ghana Health Service and World Health Organisation.
