Guinness Ghana Breweries PLC has introduced a new variant of Baileys, the world’s first cream liqueur, which is one of the alcoholic drinks under its brand portfolio onto the local market.
The all-new variant called Baileys Delight, is a blend of deliciously light premium liqueur with a taste of African honey. Underpinned with the concept of offering Ghanaians a new fusion of flavours of their favorite cream liqueur.
Senior Brands Manager, Innovations, Guinness Ghana Breweries PLC, Michael Acheampong, speaking at the product launch at the Golden Bean Hotel, Kumasi, stressed that, the product was developed by experienced and highly skilled master brewers, and that was expressed in the quality and uniqueness of taste.
“We have no doubt that Baileys Delight will fly high in Ghana as we’ve already seen the impact of this innovation within the first few months in the middle belt,” he said.

The new Baileys Delight is a lighter cream liqueur that blends the taste of African honey with real dairy cream and premium spirit with an alcohol volume of 15%. It is available in 75cl bottles and sells at a retail price of GH¢40.00 only.

Unlike the original Baileys where one needs to enjoy it best when poured over iced cubes, the new Baileys Delight is served chilled with no ice needed.
