KEK Insurance Brokers, a trailblazer in Ghana’s insurance industry, is proudly celebrating 35 years of excellence under the theme: “35 Years of Excellence: Celebrating Our Journey So Far.”
The anniversary year commenced on April 11, 2025, with a solemn staff debriefing that honoured the legacy of the company’s Founder, Mr. Kwesi Essel Koomson, on what would have been his 73rd birthday.
This moment of reflection also marked the official beginning of series of commemorative events.
A journey that began with vision and courage
Founded in 1990 with a small team and a big vision, KEK Insurance Brokers emerged at a time when the concept of professional insurance broking was still taking root in Ghana.
Through resilience, excellence, and an unwavering commitment to client service, KEK has grown to become the most respected and decorated broking firm in the country.
KEK started off with less than four employees in a single room office on the Labadi Road but has grown to become a company that employs over eighty employees with subsidiary companies in Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia and most recently Cote D’Ivoire.
In Ghana, we have branches in Tema, Kumasi, Takoradi, Tarkwa, Sunyani and Tamale with Head Office located in the Airport Residential Area, Accra.
