The Eben-Ezer Presbyterian Church Hall, Osu served as the venue on Thursday, 4th July, 2024 for Danned Ayrton Starwin (DAS) Plc’s 4th annual general meeting.
Members of the Board who were present include: Daniel Apeagyei Kissi (Chief Executive), Kwasi Yirenkyi (member), Henry Otu Ocansey (member), Dr. Barima Afrane (member) and Moritz Acquah (member)
Secretary to the board, Kwesi Austin, commenced the meeting by welcoming all shareholders and board members in attendance, and stating the agenda for the meeting which included: (1) To receive and adopt the reports of the Directors, the Auditors and the Financial Statements for the year ended 31st December 2023, (2) To authorize the Directors to fix he remuneration of the Auditors.
Chairman of the Board, Mr Nik Amarteifio in his address, touched on Business performance, corporate governance, Dividend payments, Board composition, Board committees, code of ethics, internal control, and CSR. He expressed great optimism for the year 2024 and beyond. ‘’Ultimately, the success of the organization depends on each and every one of us’’ he added. He closed his submission by expressing gratitude to the senior executive team, as well as management and staff for their outstanding efforts during the year in question.
Mr. Labaran Amidu (ICAG/P/1472) who is representative of the audit engagement partner, KPMG presented the Independent Auditor’s Report to the members and shareholders of DAS PLC.
Stakehoklders in attendance, voted unanimously in the affirmative for all motions presented and Dr. Barimah Afrane was appointed Director of shareholder engagements.
