The third edition of World Public Relations Day (WPRD) in Ghana has been launched, with a series of festival activities lined up to make this year’s WPRD Festival a memorable one. The celebrations are led by Global Media Alliance with the support of industry stakeholders, and took the form of a festival that started in April this year.

The WPRD Festival activities – both virtual and physical events – were aimed at bringing together Experts, Policymakers, PR Practitioners and Academia to discuss important industry-related issues, network, build and elevate the PR community in Ghana.

To kick-start the festival, a series of Twitter Spaces were held – followed by Slush Events which were greatly attended by industry professionals and academia. These slush events focused on PR Masterclass for Startups; Sustainability and ESG; PR and Media Economy; and Next Generation Women.

The summit serves as an opportunity to bring together PR professionals, experts, students and enthusiasts from around the world to share knowledge, insights and best practices.
