Rosebank International University College (RIUC), a member of the ADvTECH Group, has established its Ghana campus with secured international accreditations and partnerships, positioning the institution as a hub for global learning to empower students with unparalleled access to world-class education and career pathways.
The institution with South African roots has been accredited by several prestigious organisations, including the British Accreditation Council (UK), South African Qualifications Authority (RSA), and the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC), ensuring alignment with rigorous academic standards in the country.
Other international affiliations secured include the Golden Key International Honour Society, which offers students access to a global network of high-achieving scholars, the Independent Institute of Education (IIE) South Africa, and the Capsicum Culinary Studio, which has endorsed RIUC’s culinary programmes for their excellence and has a global network of industry partners.
RIUC is a brand of ADvTECH, Africa’s leading and most accredited private higher education provider with over 113 colleges and schools in Sub-Saharan Africa. It is also a member of the Association of African Universities (AAA), which affiliation strengthens RIUC’s role in advancing higher education across the continent.
RIUC Vice-President Dr George Asamoah, speaking to the B&FT, noted that these developments mark a significant milestone in RIUC’s mission to connect students with world-class education and global career pathways.
With registrations open ahead of the first academic semester, which begins on 1 September 2025, RIUC offers a wide range of high-demand qualifications, from doctoral programmes to diplomas.
Rosebank, situated in Accra’s Airport Residential Area- Opeibea House, currently has three faculties -Commerce, Information, Communication Technology (ICT), and Hospitality, Culinary & Service, with 15 accredited programmes.
Some of its accredited programmes include Doctor of Business Administration, Master of Science in Digital Marketing, Bachelor of Service Management, and Diploma in Food Preparation and Culinary Arts, among others.
Students in Ghana have an opportunity to undertake one semester in one of its South African campuses to experience other cultures, get first-hand continental knowledge, and build a network for professional growth.
“Central to this announcement is the opportunity for RIUC students to participate in international exchange programmes with IIE Rosebank College, which operates eight campuses across South Africa, collectively serving over 33,000 students, and through membership with The Golden Key International Honour Society, based in the United States of America.
“These exchanges will enable students to study abroad, immersing themselves in diverse academic and cultural environments to build skills for the global workforce,” says Dr Asamoah.
RIUC Vice-President further elaborated that by opening doors to international exchanges and globally recognised qualifications, the institution is ensuring its students can compete and succeed on a world stage while staying rooted in African excellence.
