Mr. Baibhav Biswas, Country Head of Olam Agri in Ghana, has been honoured with the esteemed CEO Leadership Excellence Award in the Agribusiness Food Sector (Private Sector) at the 9th Ghana CEO Summit held in Accra.
The recognition comes as a clear testament to Mr. Biswas’s exceptional leadership in the industry and highlights outstanding accomplishments and contributions to Ghana’s agribusiness and food value chain.
His leadership has strengthened Olam Agri’s position as a trusted partner in the agricultural sector, championing food security, innovation, and sustainable growth.
Organised by the CEO Network of Ghana, the Ghana CEO Excellence Awards scheme celebrates visionary leadership and excellence across sectors at its annual Ghana CEO Summit.
This year’s event, held under the theme ‘Leading Ghana’s Economic Reset: Transforming Business and Governance for a Sustainable, Futuristic Economy,’ aims to inspire business leaders to leverage technology to drive impact and growth.

Since assuming leadership of Olam Agri in September 2024, Mr. Biswas has led several transformative initiatives, including the expansion of the company’s footprint in Ghana’s local rice and wheat value chains.
The Ghana business recently registered another pioneering initiative by recently adding pasta to its mill operations with the groundbreaking launch of Ghana’s first pasta production plant. This considerably affirmed the company’s commitment to investments in food processing and local manufacturing.
