Vlisco Group has launched a vibrant collection themed “Colour of Love” in honour of mothers.
The launch held at its shop at Accra Mall, pays tribute to the strength, resilience, and unconditional love of mothers.
The Vlisco Group designs, produces and distributes fashion fabrics, especially of the African wax print style, for the West and Central African market and African consumers in global metropolitan cities.
Deborah Sowah, Brand and Customer Experience Manager at Vlisco Ghana, shared that the new collection is a symbol of the enduring love mothers give, despite life’s many challenges.
“Mothers face life with strength, resilience, and hard work, and we admire them greatly for that. For me, the greatest love comes from a mother. This collection is our way of showing appreciation to all mothers for the sacrifices they make every single day,” she said.
The collection features a dynamic range of bold and joyful fabrics in colours that reflect the emotional warmth and strength of motherhood.
From deep blues symbolising calm and depth to bright yellows and greens representing vibrancy and renewal, each piece in the collection tells a story of love and gratitude.
According to Ms. Sowah, Vlisco’s decision to launch the collection a few days to Mother’s Day aligns with the brand’s vision of celebrating women all year round.
“Before this, we had a Women’s Month collection with a different theme. We always tailor our designs to suit the season and the moments that matter to our customers,” she explained, adding that Vlisco, known for its innovation and creativity, introduces new collections four times a year.
