The President and Founder of the Afro-Arab Group of Companies, Alhaji Salamu Amadu, has praised the organisers of the Kwahu Business Forum for creating a powerful platform that empowers entrepreneurs and drives economic development.

In a post-event radio interview in Accra, Ambassador Amadu lauded the initiative, describing it as a significant opportunity for entrepreneurs to network, gain exposure, and connect with industry leaders.

“This was my first time attending the forum in Kwahu, and I must say it has already yielded results—two banks have visited me at the Afro-Arab Group Head Office following the event,” he revealed, highlighting the immediate business opportunities and partnerships generated by the forum.

He emphasised that such forums play a crucial role in inspiring and nurturing the next generation of business leaders.

“Platforms like the Kwahu Business Forum serve as stepping stones for entrepreneurs to gain exposure, learn, and build valuable connections,” he noted.

Ambassador Amadu also urged the organizers to expand the forum’s reach beyond Ghana. He proposed inviting firms from across Africa to participate in future editions, aligning with the goals of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

“I strongly encourage the organisers to consider including companies from other African countries next year. This would not only broaden business networks but also advance regional integration. The forum could become a key platform for intra-African trade,” he suggested.

Beyond business, he highlighted the forum’s role in boosting tourism and local economies. “This initiative will empower many entrepreneurs while also promoting tourism in the region,” he added.

Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu, a prominent businessman with diverse sectoral interests and roots in the Zongo communities, also acknowledged the leadership behind the forum. He commended former President John Dramani Mahama and former Chief of Staff Julius Debrah for their dedication to empowering entrepreneurs nationwide.

“I had heard about Kwahu for years, but this was my first visit—thanks to the forum. I was truly impressed by the organization, networking opportunities, and the vision behind this initiative. It’s a game-changer for entrepreneurs like me,” he said.

A staunch advocate for youth and business development through the Afro-Arab Group, Ambassador Amadu reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that foster entrepreneurial growth across Ghana and Africa.

The Kwahu Business Forum is part of ongoing efforts to boost business development, tourism, and regional economic growth in the Kwahu area. It continues to attract diverse participants, offering a unique space for collaboration and new business opportunities.
