Festivities commenced at 11:00 a.m. with a grand Shobha Yatra – a devotional procession marked by colourful attire, traditional music and spiritual chants.

This was followed by a cultural programme from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., showcasing performances from both Indian and Ghanaian community members that reflected the richness of Bhojpuri culture.

The programme opened with a soulful rendition of the Hanuman Chalisa, setting a devotional tone. This was followed by a series of dynamic performances, including energetic dances by the ISKCON team and Tema Ladies and Children. Devotional bhajans were rendered by Anita Pandey, Balajee and Sivnesh Srivastava, deepening the spiritual atmosphere.

A Ramayan-themed fashion show brought the epic’s characters and teachings to life, while special performances by Divya Kumb and the duo Priyanshi Samal & Sai Aradhya captivated the audience. The event concluded with distribution of Prasadam, a sacred offering symbolising unity, gratitude and divine blessings.
