Director of Marketing and Brand at Ecobank Ghana PLC, Regina Ofori, has reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to empowering women-led businesses, emphasising that fostering female entrepreneurship is key to driving economic growth and sustainability.

Speaking at the 2025 Women in Business Dialogue series in Kumasi, Ms. Ofori highlighted Ellevate by Ecobank, the bank’s flagship initiative designed to support women-led and women-focused businesses.

She described the programme as a transformative tool helping women build, scale, and thrive in competitive markets.

“Ecobank is proud to be a partner for this year’s summit, reinforcing our commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and driving sustainable growth,” she stated.

The summit brought together a dynamic mix of women-led SMEs, young women in tech, market queens, smallholder farmers, students, and trailblasing leaders from industry and policy.

Discussions centered on strategies to tackle business challenges, promote leadership, and enhance economic inclusion for women entrepreneurs.

Ms. Ofori urged participants to engage, uplift, and collaborate, emphasizing that empowering women in business strengthens families, communities, and future generations.

“Together, we can create a future where women in business continue to rise, lead, and transform industries,” she noted.

Ecobank remains dedicated to providing financial solutions and strategic partnerships to support women entrepreneurs across Africa.
