The Minister of Works, Housing and Water Resources, Kenneth Gilbert Adjei, has congratulated the organizers of the Diaspora Property Expo 2025 (DPE2025) for promoting Ghana’s real estate industry to a global audience and assured them of continued state support to make DPE2025 a resounding success.

He gave the assurance when he met the organizers of DPE2025 at his office in Accra for discussions on the expo scheduled from March 21 to March 23 in Pennsylvania, United States. DPE2025 primarily aims at facilitating property acquisition in Ghana for Ghanaians and other Diasporans in North America.

The expo is being organized by the Diaspora Property Investment Ltd, Made in Ghana Consulting Ltd, Ghana Real Estate Developers Association (GREDA), World Trade Centre of Philadelphia, Nkunim Diaspora City in Mankesim and Atomu Africa Development Services. They are in partnership with outfits such as the Ministry of Works, Housing and Water Resources, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ghana Embassy in Washington DC, Office of Representative Amen Brown of Pennsylvania and Office of the Mayor of Philadelphia.

About 25 exhibitors in various areas of the real estate and property space in Ghana have registered to participate in the maiden edition of the DPE to be organized at 1735 Market Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

During the meeting, the DPE2025 team thoroughly explained the purpose of their project to the Minister and expressed gratitude for the Ministry’s assistance so far in the drive by Ghanaian real estate developers to stretch their wings in the USA and Canada.

Present at the meeting was Thomas Young, President of the World Trade Center of Philadelphia which will host DPE2025. He extended warm regards from his organization and the City of Pennsylvania to the people of Ghana, adding that beyond the expo, there were other mutually-beneficial opportunities for long-term collaboration between Ghana and the United States.

Also in attendance at the meeting were Nana Kwesi Atomu II of Atomu Africa Development; Sidney Justin Tehoda, Verus Nartey, and Nana Obokese, CEO of Nkunim Diaspora City, along with other officials from Diaspora Property Investment Limited. Many important stakeholders in the real estate space see DPE 2025 as a forward-thinking initiative to help position Ghana as a first-rate real estate investment destination for the diaspora community in North America and elsewhere.
