America-based Ghanaian entrepreneur nominated for Entrepreneur of Impact Award

Ghanaian entrepreneur based in the United States of America, Moses Akurugu Ade-Ena, has been nominated to participate in this year’s Entrepreneur of Impact Competition.

His participation could lead to significant rewards, including a feature in Forbes Magazine and a $25,000 prize for his startup, Reshscore.

Apart from the cash prize and a feature in Forbes Magazine, the winner of the competition gets the opportunity to be mentored by Daymond John. John is the founder and CEO of FUBU, an apparel company. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to turn a $40 budget into FUBU which is now worth $6 billion.



The competition presents opportunity to participants to unlock their potential with exclusive workshop series designed specifically for entrepreneurs. Led by industry experts, each session dives into essential topics like strategic growth, innovation, and leadership, providing the tools and insights needed to elevate to the next level.

Ade-Ena is the founder of ReshScore (reshscore.com) a credit scoring system designed to bridge the financial inclusion gap and enhance access to credit in Ghana. Ghana is one of the countries where credit scoring systems are not widely established.

This makes many Ghanaians struggle to secure financial assistance. Ade-Ena advocates that every Ghanaian deserves access to credit scores, emphasizing the importance of individualized credit scores to achieving financial inclusion.

His passion for technology and entrepreneurship was ignited during his undergraduate studies at the University of Health and Allied Sciences, where he was recognized as the student entrepreneur.

Ade-Ena has also served in various capabilities as a young leader, notable among them is  president of the Youth Alliance for Leadership and Development in Africa (YALDA Ghana) an organization in over 21 African countries that aim to empower young people in leadership, business, entrepreneurship and volunteerism.

In addition to his leadership roles, Ade-Ena is a fellow of the prestigious Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI), which aims to empower young African leaders. Moses is a certified Business Coach by The US Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights (USIDHR).

Moses also holds an executive Certificate in Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the The Thunderbird School of Global Management, Arizona State University.

Ade-Ena has dedicated his time and resources to mentoring young people in leadership, entrepreneurship and business. He also engages in various philanthropic and volunteerism especially in the area of healthcare and education.
