ECL supports UHAS in transforming medical research

Enterprise Computing Limited (ECL) has inaugurated the ECL-UHAS Clinical Research and Treatment Development Centre at the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS). The partnership marks a pivotal step toward transforming healthcare delivery in Ghana through innovative research and technology.

Cionilda Cudjoe, ECL’s Chief Operating Officer, emphasized the company’s dedication to fostering impactful change. “Our support for UHAS in establishing this research facility reflects our dedication to social responsibility and community service. The medical equipment and stationery we have donated are intended to enhance vital research efforts,” she said. This initiative aligns with ECL’s commitment to leveraging technology to address critical health challenges and improve healthcare outcomes.

The research centre is positioned to serve as a hub for cutting-edge health research, exploring fields like telemedicine, machine learning, robotics, and disease modelling. Professor Mahamadu Ayamba Ali, a faculty member at UHAS, highlighted the importance of such collaborations: “Initiatives like the ECL-UHAS Research Centre are crucial for evolving healthcare solutions and supporting innovative research initiatives.”
