The Melcom Group of Companies, one of the largest retail shopping centres in the country, has launched a new branch at Accra Mall to enhance the shopping experience of the public during this Christmas season and beyond.

The new Accra Mall branch becomes Melcom’s third-party mall after the first one at the West Hills Mall in February, and another at the Achimota Mall.

Patrons who throng the facility during the official opening session were offered an exciting 20 percent discount on all products purchased. Similar discounts also applied to all who shop at the facility over the weekend.

Managing Director of the Melcom Group, Dr. Ramesh Sadhwani, speaking at the launch indicated that the grand opening in the nation-leading shopping centre is an exciting milestone for the brand as it seeks to bring new shopping experiences to this vibrant mall.

“At Melcom, we believe in offering more than just products. We strive to provide our customers with the best experience by offering the widest variety of products, the best value at the lowest prices, and unmatched customer service, all under one roof.

“We challenge ourselves to meet all your needs and make your shopping journey enjoyable and memorable. Our vision has always been about more than just selling products,” he said

The new store at the Accra Mall offers an extensive range of products, including fresh produce, household essentials, fashion items, and electronic appliances. With over 15,000 items available under one roof, Melcom has established itself as the leading departmental store in the country.

The opening ceremony was graced by Hip-Life superstar Sarkodie, who was the special guest of honour. He entertained the audience and invited the public to shop where his family shops because the products stocked by Melcom are of top quality.

Melcom Group General Manager Francis Sam emphasised that the brand remains committed to offering opportunities to local producers by sourcing its food products, such as fruits and vegetables, among others, from local farmers.

The Assistant Assets Manager of Accra Mall, Olympio Agbodza, mentioned that the mall’s management is excited about the partnership with Melcom. The mall envisages such collaboration as forward-looking and will ensure the public gets the best quality products cheaper and with convenience.
