The National Democratic Congress is on course for total victory in the forthcoming December polls but this can only be ensured when Party Executives and officials move down to the Branches, Wards and Constituencies to educate members and the people on the sound policies the NDC plans to implement to alleviate the hardships currently facing the citizens when voted into office, Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the NDC Running mate  has said.

She explained that  the 24-hour Economy and the establishment of the first Women’s Development Bank for Ghanaian women were highlights of the NDC to resuscitate the collapsed economy of the nation,  provide massive employment to the youth, and generally reset the country on the path of equitable and inclusive development.

Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang gave the advice at the Central Regional Head-quarters of the NDC when she presented 25 motor bikes, party tee-shirts, scarps aprons and assorted food items to the Party. The Motor Bikes are to be distributed to all the 23 Constituencies in the Region.

She explained that the Women’s Bank would be a specialized institution to be run by women for the purpose of  empowering and uplifting women traders and entrepreneurs who daily look out for capital support to enhance and boost their businesses.

She told the Party Executives that the task to relieve the people of Ghana from the economic and social mess as of today, demands the sacrifices of all patriots, most especially ‘those of you who have put yourselves in the frontline for carrying out the rescue mission.’

The Acting Central Regional Chairman of the NDC, Ekow Okyere Panyin Edumoah , on behalf of the Regional Party expressed sincere appreciation to the  Running Mate  for her continuous support and care for the Party and pledged that the Motor bikes would be put to good use.

He assured her that the Executive will leave no stone unturned in ensuring massive victory for the NDC in the Central Region where she hails from in the December 2024 elections.
