Duapa Werkspace celebrates fourth anniversary

Duapa Werkspace, a skills development and entrepreneurship hub, has celebrated its fourth anniversary, marking its growth and empowerment for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the Western Region.
As part of the celebrations, a series of activities such as stakeholder engagement were held, where individuals shared their views and suggestions on how the hub can improve upon its services.
Also, some small and medium enterprises (SMEs) shared their experiences on how Duapa has impacted their businesses positively in terms of marketing, branding, using social media to project their work and sustainability.
Erasmus Mensah-Ackon, Chief Executive Officer of Duapa Werkspace, explained to the media that the hub stands as a catalyst for positive change, fostering a community of empowered individuals poised to reshape their destinies and contribute to the collective prosperity of the Western Region and the country as whole.

“Our programmes, provide nurturing environment for early-stage start-ups, to transform innovative ideas into viable, sustainable businesses, thereby contributing to economic development and job creation. Other initiatives include the digital skills, women empowerment, fashion, among others,” Mr. Mensah-Ackon said.
“At Duapa Werkspace, we are here to solve problems; and we are in a position where organisations from all over will come to us for services,” he added.
Projecting into the future, he said: “What we are seeking for is collaboration in the ecosystem to meet the needs of the youth in particular,curb unemployment and give future generations hope”.
Jesse Roland Prah, Chief Executive Officer of Roland Rice, who had his GrEEn Incubation Programme facilitated by Duapa Werkspace, encouraged SMEs and start-ups to get their training from the hub.
“Duapa has groomed me and my business, I will recommend every business to patronise their services for expansion, marketing and sustainability of their enterprises,” he said.
