“Our success would not be possible without the support of our customers, who have shown us time and again that they appreciate the quality and flavour of our beverages and have gone further to show solidarity by casting votes in our favour during the voting phase. We will continue to strive to meet their ever-evolving tastes and preferences,” she added.

She further reaffirmed the company’s commitment to staying at the forefront of the rapidly changing beverage sector and pledged to keep raising the bar for environmental sustainability, health standards and product quality.

Heritage Beer, Heineken and Johnnie Walker were among the other beverage brands recognised that evening.

Ernest Boateng, CEO of Global Media Alliance, commended all stakeholders for their support and congratulated Verna Purified Water for winning the top prize.

The eighth edition of the Ghana Beverage Awards was organised with a special focus on developing players along the entire beverage value chain.

Additionally, sustainability took centre-stage in the affairs of the scheme this year, leading to the introduction of a new category – Sustainability Champion of the Year.

Since its inception, GBA has been crucial in highlighting the local beverage industry, promoting both domestic and foreign products, and encouraging small-scale beverage businesses in Ghana to participate.

It has remained a force to reckon with through its contribution to ensuring that beverage manufacturing companies are compliant with the highest standards of practice in the production and delivery of their products.
