Nana Serwah Godson-Amamoo, a prominent lawyer and partner at AB & David Africa, has tragically died in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Reports indicate that she complained of feeling unwell just moments before a planned scuba diving expedition.

She collapsed and passed away after undergoing training for the activity, Asaaseradio.com reports.

Godson-Amamoo was a distinguished figure in the legal world, particularly renowned for her expertise in natural resources and extractive industries.

With over 19 years of experience, she represented numerous clients in matters related to energy, mining, and other extractive sectors. Her contributions extended to advising on acquisitions, deal structuring, project development, and regulatory compliance.

Additionally, she played a pivotal role in AB & David Africa’s Government Business and Regulation Practice Group, providing consultation on public sector reform initiatives and assisting African governments with legislative development and capacity-building efforts.

Nana Serwah Godson-Amamoo’s untimely demise leaves a significant void in both the legal profession and the communities she served.
