The Business and Financial Times (B&FT), Africa’s leading provider of business information, has paid a courtesy visit to the management of Glico Group—a prominent conglomerate renowned for its diversified offerings in insurance, in a demonstration of mutual respect and a shared commitment to enhancing service delivery and promoting economic growth.

The visit provided an opportunity for both entities to discuss matters of mutual interest and explore avenues for collaboration. Central to the discussions was the objective of leveraging each other’s expertise and networks to unlock new opportunities, foster innovation, and drive sustainable development within the business landscape.

During the meeting, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the B&FT, Dr. Godwin Acquaye, expressed gratitude to the Glico Group for their longstanding support while expressing optimism about the potential benefits of collaboration.

He underscored the B&FT’s commitment to facilitating fruitful partnerships and highlighted the various platforms, including upcoming conferences, through which Glico Group could expand its reach and engagement.

In response, Edward Forkuo Kyei, CEO of Glico Group, lauded the B&FT’s role in driving business growth and acknowledged the newspaper’s status as a pioneer and leading publication in the field.

He expressed appreciation for the progress achieved by both indigenous companies and emphasized the importance of future collaborations to capitalize on shared strengths and opportunities.

“We cannot underestimate the role B&FT plays in terms of business growth and the fact that it remains the first and biggest business newspaper. For me, it is good that two indigenous companies have come this far over the period. We could not have come this far without partnership and we look forward to more collaborations in the future,” he added.

The meeting, attended by key figures from both organisations, including Dr. Francis Sapara-Grant, MD of GLICO Pensions, Andrew Achampong Kyei, Esq, MD of GLICO General, and Anthony Boadu, MD of GLICO Capital, provided a platform for fruitful discussions and laid the groundwork for future collaboration between B&FT and Glico Group.
