Trailblazers in partnership with Fun House Nursery has donated food items and essential supplies worth GH¢9,000 to the Home of Taqwa Orphanage at Dodowa, Accra.

The donation, which includes a wide range of items such as rice; sardines; noodles; school supplies; shoes; toys and books, aims to support the orphanage in providing for needs of the children residing at the orphanage.

The collaboration between Fun House Nursery and Trailblazers demonstrates a commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those less fortunate in the community.

Administrator for Trailblazers, Gifty Takyi, said Trailblazers is known for its commitment to making a positive impact in the community, and she therefore believes that supporting the Home of Taqwa Orphanage is crucial in ensuring the children’s well-being and development.

She added that the provisions will not only ensure that the children have access to nutritious meals, but also address their immediate needs. By providing them with necessary resources, they hope to encourage the children to take their studies seriously, be obedient to their facilitators and exhibit good behaviour.

“We are doing all that we can to find others who are also able come to their aid, so they do not lack the basic things they need to thrive. Our goal is to provide a nurturing environment for these children, where they can grow, learn and reach their full potential,” she said.

General Manager-Home of Taqwa Orphanage, Waris Alhassan, expressed his gratitude for the generous donation; stating that it will have a significant impact on the children’s lives.

“We are deeply grateful to Trailblazers organisation and Fun House Nursery for their kindness and support. This donation will not only address immediate needs of the children but also inspire them to dream big and work toward a brighter future.”

He called on other organisations and government to come to their aid, as they are faced with a lot of challenges. He mentioned that the Home has begun undertaking certain projects which can support them and help generate income.
