Melissa A. Mintah, a 25-year-old graduate from Central University, is embarking on an incredible journey as she departs for the Miss Globe competition in Tirana, Albania. With a burning passion for making a difference in the lives of others, Melissa is ready to represent Ghana and compete against delegates from 80 countries for the prestigious Miss Globe Title.

Melissa’s journey into the world of pageantry began when she found inspiration in the remarkable work of Priyanka Chopra, particularly her efforts in supporting women and children on the streets. This profound influence ignited a fire within Melissa, compelling her to take action and create positive change in her own community. Hence, she founded the project “No More Streetism,” a noble initiative aimed at eradicating poverty in Ghana.

The “No More Streetism” project focuses on five essential stages: provision, health, education, training, and shelter. Melissa firmly believes that by addressing each of these areas, she can make a significant impact on the lives of those affected by poverty. Her unwavering dedication is evident as she passionately dedicates herself to providing basic necessities, improving access to healthcare, promoting education, offering skills training, and ultimately providing shelter for those in need.

Melissa’s perseverance and commitment have not gone unnoticed. In the Miss Malaika pageant, she emerged as a top 10 delegate, showcasing her grace, intelligence, and beauty. This success led to her being selected as the representative of Ghana at the prestigious Miss Africa Calabar Pageant, held in Cross River State, Nigeria, where she captivated the audience and earned the title of 3rd runner up, solidifying her place among the top beauty queens in Africa.

Now, Melissa is ready to take on the Miss Globe competition, which commences on the 6th of November, with the grand finale on the 17th of November. This international pageant brings together women from around the world, celebrating beauty, culture, and social impact. Melissa is thrilled to have the opportunity to showcase her advocacy for poverty eradication and hopes to inspire others to join her cause.

In her quest to win the Miss Globe competition and amplify her impact, Melissa calls upon all Ghanaians for their unwavering support. She urges her fellow countrymen to vote for her on the official Miss Globe website, www.theMissGlobe.com. By casting their votes, Ghanaians can actively contribute to Melissa’s mission of making a difference and bringing global attention to the issue of poverty in their country.

Melissa Mintah is not just a beauty queen; she is a compassionate woman driven by a burning desire to create positive change. Through her work with the “No More Streetism” project and her participation in international pageants, Melissa strives to make a lasting impact on the lives of those in need.
