Andrew Asare, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Active Barbershop, was recognized for his exceptional contributions at the 7th annual Forty Under 40 Awards, which took place at the De Icon Events Centre in East Legon, Accra.

This prestigious accolade acknowledges Andrew Asare’s remarkable dedication and commitment to the barbering industry. He is also recognized for leading a highly respected company that advocates for best business practices.

Following the presentation of the award, Andrew Asare expressed his gratitude and emphasized that this achievement underscores his unwavering commitment to delivering the highest levels of customer satisfaction and continuous improvement across all facets of their operations.

He emphasized that this award serves as a testament to his pursuit of excellence in every aspect of their business. “I am thrilled about this remarkable milestone. It underscores our steadfast dedication to not only meeting but exceeding customer expectations while upholding stringent quality standards.”

Andrew Asare is positioning his company as a leader in the industry, enhancing its credibility and reputation in the market, and setting benchmarks for others to follow.

He further highlighted that the company consistently seizes opportunities for evolution to remain relevant and continuously improve.

In addition to his role as CEO, Andrew Asare is a certified facilitator in Barbering and Cosmetology. He is also renowned for his portrait work, where he intricately depicts figures such as Shattawale, Sarkodie, Stonebowy, Kwame Nkrumah, and most recently, Memphis Depay, on the back of his models’ heads. One of his portraits of Davido was even featured on BBC.

Andrew Asare is also deeply involved in philanthropy through his foundation, the Active Barbers Foundation. The foundation supports prisoners, orphanages, the Akropong School for the Blind, and more.

Furthermore, Andrew Asare conducts annual training programs, offering free guidance to high school graduates and training females to become professional barbers in this predominantly male-dominated industry. This initiative aims to alleviate unemployment in the country.
