Located in East Legon, Agiringanor – Accra, the new establishment offers a variety take on popular Ghanaian dishes, providing customers with an unforgettable dining experience.

Rebecca Nana Adama Owusu-Banahene, the visionary and Executive Director, stated that what distinguishes Jollof & Waakye from other food joints is its steadfast commitment to delivering top-notch services, emphasising that the goal is to drive the eatery market with current quality dining service.

“Our unique selling point is our service delivery. We are always here to deliver on time. Customers can enjoy the same great taste and top-notch service in the comfort of their own homes or offices. Through a user-friendly online platform, ordering food has never been easier. We are guaranteeing prompt and efficient delivery so that no appetite goes unsatisfied. When we say an order will be ready in 10-15, it is 10-15 minutes. We want to deliver on our promise, which is: Great Food, Great Taste, and Great Service Delivery,” she said.

She reiterated that Jollof & Waakye is a new urban fast-food module that has been established to bring street food into a more mordenised environment, not compromising on the quality and taste of the food. “Sometimes you get people compare the taste they get from purchasing street food to certain eateries and so our aim is to bring that home-feel great taste to a cleaner and more modern environment,” she said.

The menu at Jollof & Waakye showcases an array of mouthwatering options. Traditional Ghanaian staples like jollof rice and waakye take on a whole new level of deliciousness with unique twists and flavours.

The cuisine’s signature meals include Kwahu Jollof (Beef, Koobi), Jollof and Grilled Tilapia, Jollof and Goat, Jollof and Chicken, Jollof and Pork, Fried rice and Chicken, Fried rice and Goat, Special Waakye, Angwamo Loaded, Assorted Jollof and Fried rice, among others.

Customers can also find an assortment of sides, including fried rice, yam chips, kelewele, grilled tilapia and rich stews that perfectly complement the main courses.

She said the vision behind Jollof & Waakye in the long term is to contribute to the culinary landscape of Accra while also contributing to the general growth of the economy. “We want to improve the ecosystem of the restaurant and eatery space with our main objectives.
