Horizons Offices holds networking event for clients


Horizons Offices Ghana Limited (Ltd), a fully furnished serviced office provider based in Accra, has held a networking event to bond with its clients and stakeholders and to share ideas.

Country Manager of the company, Carlis Arko, in his opening remarks at event held in Accra, underscored the significant role Horizons Offices plays in ensuring the provision of office space solutions to the business needs of its clients, noting that for the past 10 years, it has been instrumental in solving the ‘lack of office’ phenomenon, which he described as one of the major challenges facing Ghanaian businesses.

Managing Director of GB Foods Ghana, David Afflu, who was the keynote speaker for the event, speaking on the topic: ‘Surviving the present business environment – planning the future’, highlighted three key characteristics business owners must exhibit to enable them to navigate the current tough market environment. They are credibility, aligning businesses to the market and speed.

Touching on credibility, he noted that this attribute, when built overtime, engenders trust and enables businesses to manage their clients and stakeholders even in challenging times.

One the second attribute, he said it is imperative that businesses align themselves with the market in order to win. “The market always wins and if you align with it, it will reward you. If you do not, it will punish you”.

Lastly, he noted that speed is of paramount importance when executing in the market place as well as essential to navigating tough market environments such as Ghana’s.

“There is a huge punishment you may get if you delay and you do not make the right decision at the right time,” he added.
