…as it marks World Milk Day with consumers at Madina Market
Arla Foods, producer of Dano Milk, has reaffirmed its commitment to providing consumers with high-quality products as it marks World Milk Day with potential and actual customers at Madina market.
General Manager for Arla Foods Ghana Limited, Vytautas Petronis, said being a farmer-owned dairy company that understands the importance of dairy to one’s health, it is guaranteeing consumers of its zeal to prioritise and take quality to its utmost.
“This year we took a different approach, so the Dano team is interacting with consumers and retailers in many markets of the country. This is because we see dairy as an important part of nutrition. And as a farmer-owned dairy company you can count on us for quality,” he said.
He added that: “We are working with a number of local partners to expand more geographically, and introducing new products to give customers more variety to choose from”.
The Day allows them to interact with consumers and educate them on the benefits of milk and dairy products. Along with fun events, they also gave nutritious products to participants.
Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, popularly known as Funny Face – who is Brand Ambassador for Dano Milk, used the occasion for encouraging Ghanaians they should make it a point to always go for quality products.
He emphasised that the products are a crucial source of natural vitamins and nutrients, because they are packed with nutrients like protein, calcium, vitamin A, vitamin B12, vitamin B2, vitamin D, iodine and many others that are necessary for maintaining one’s health and strength.
World Milk Day is a Day established by the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations to recognise the importance of milk as a global food, and to raise public awareness of the crucial role milk plays in our lives.
For 2023, the Day focused on how dairy is reducing carbon footprints while providing nutritious food for livelihoods. Arla Foods has reaffirmed its commitment to providing high-quality and nutritious milk to its consumers in the country with 3 days of fun-filled events.
