Ghana Shippers’ Authority donates to Tarkwa Municipal Hospital

The Ghana Shippers Authority (GSA) has donated 100 bedsheets, packs of toilet roll, gallons of liquid soap and boxes of bleach to the Tarkwa Municipal Hospital in the Western Region.

The items which were delivered to the hospital by a team from the Takoradi Branch of the Authority on Thursday, 19th May 2023 are intended to support the operations of the hospital.

GSA’s Takoradi Branch Manager, Mrs. Agnes Asamoah-Duku, handed over the items to the Medical Superintendent of the Tarkwa Municipal Hospital, Dr. Frederick Yaw Sarpong on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer of the Authority, Ms. Benonita Bismarck. She indicated that the donation forms part of the GSA’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Dr. Sarpong, in receiving the items on behalf of the hospital, thanked the GSA for the kind gesture, noting that the donation had come at the right time. He entreated other organizations to emulate the GSA by offering voluntary support to the hospital.
