Polytank Ghana Limited has introduced an all-new addition of water storage model to its award-winning product line of water tanks.
The product, dubbed ‘Sumo Super’, is said to be Africa’s first ever three-layer water tank produced with the latest technology at the brand’s newly commissioned state of the art plant in Ghana.
The Sumo Super comes in nine range of colours to meet the preference of every customer.
Executive Chairman of the Mohinani Group Ashok Mohinani, in his address at the product launch held at the Achimota Retail Centre, made mention of the tank’s unique features; namely: its in-built antibacterial properties, preventing algae formation; UV stabilisers which make it able to withstand all weather conditions; and its overall great sturdiness.
A short simulation to test the durability of the tank was done at the ceremony, and true to its name, the Sumo Super exhibited great agility, power and strength similar to that of an elite Japanese Sumo wrestler.
Chief Director of the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources Noah Tumfo praised Polytank Ghana for its dedication to making clean, safe-to-drink water readily available to every Ghanaian household. He further commended the brand for its campaign to help deal with the plastic waste menace in the country.
In his closing statement, he reiterated his ministry’s commitment to working hand in hand with Polytank to ensure that the objective of providing safe water storage solutions in the country is realised.
The ceremony was expertly hosted by TV and radio personality Giovanni Caleb, who treated patrons to a good time. Other side attractions included a dance skit and short interviews with some loyal distributors of Polytank for more than two decades.
In attendance also was Atul Raghave – Vice President of Mohinani Group, and Giren Mohinani – Business Head.
