Zenith Bank promises more digital solutions, rewards promo winners

He stated that the Zenith Mastercard Debit Card is one of the most robust payment cards in the Ghanaian and Global card payment market; saying that it is issued instantly, fully activated and ready to use all over the world.

Mr. Onwuzurigbo made these remarks during the presentation of awards to winners of the bank’s ‘Zenith More4More’ promotion in Accra. The promotion, organised during the months of December 2022 and January 2023, aimed at driving the issuance and usage of the Zenith Mastercard Debit Card and other digital banking solutions.



“As a customer-focused bank, we organised this promo – duly regulated by the National Lotteries Authority under the Caritas Platform – as part of our retail banking strategy to drive government’s agenda of financial inclusion by encouraging uptake and usage of bank cards, and more specifically to deepen the awareness of Mastercard,” he said in a speech read on his behalf.

Mr. Onwuzurigbo added that Zenith Bank’s vision is to be a reference point in the provision of prompt, flawless and innovative banking products and services in the Ghanaian banking industry.

“We have pioneered the development of digital solutions in the Ghanaian market with tried and trusted products that are constantly being enhanced to meet the dynamic needs of our customers over the past seventeen years. This has ensured that we provide a ‘365-day 24/7’ excellent customer experience to our customers.”

He furthermore said that the bank has been conscious of the fact that it must remain relevant and impact the lives of its stakeholders by providing robust banking products and services, of which the Zenith Mastercard Debit Card is no exception.

According to the bank, customers were expected to spend a minimum of GH¢1,000 – either online or on any point-of-sale terminal – to win monthly prizes.

The 1st winner, who consecutively won the December 2022 as well as January 2023 editions of the “Zenith More4More” promo went home with fuel coupons, branded souvenirs and an ultimate prize of GH¢20,000.

The 2nd and 3rd place winners also received GH¢15,000 and GH¢10,000 respectively, with each also receiving branded souvenirs and fuel coupons.

While commending winners of the promo for their loyalty to the bank’s brand, the CEO used the opportunity to encourage all Zenith Bank Ghana customers to keep using its products and services, and spread the good news to others so that they too can join the Zenith family.
