Eco Alibert opens new showroom


Eco Alibert, a local manufacturer of quality hand-made furniture, has opened its new showroom at Adjiringanor- East Legon in the Greater Accra Region.

The company, a subsidiary of Eco Furniture Works, offers both wholesale and retail of home, office and outdoor furniture and the unveiling of the new showroom forms part of its vision of becoming a leader in the woodwork and leatherwork space in the country.

“The company has a vision of making locally manufactured products very attractive, affordable and worth every penny anyone spends on them and that is why this partnership with Eco furniture and Alibert is very important. We are committed to this because we want the world to know we are also capable of producing the best furniture in Ghana and Africa,” CEO of Eco Furniture Works Limited, George Oti-Bonsu, said.

“Through the combined effort of the two brands, patrons can be rest assured that they will have the very best of home, office and outdoor furniture without going through the usual troubles of importing them from other countries,” he added.

For his part, the CEO of Alibert Furniture, Chief Maged Ali Taan, shared his excitement about the partnership, saying: “I am excited about this partnership. It means a lot to me because Eco Furniture Works Limited and Alibert share the same vision of providing quality and affordable furniture for everyone. We are determined to make sure our clients and customers get the best services they desire.”


Currently, the two companies are putting up a huge state-of-the-art manufacturing factory at Prampram, in the Ningo-Prampram District of Accra, which is expected to be ready next year. When completed, it will help the partners to expand their production.

Meanwhile over the years, the company has provided services for companies including the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, Tema Development Corporation, USAID and Mawums Ltd, among others.

It is also the sole distributor of Tuna Doors from Turkey and Alibert in Nigeria. It has its production sites located at Spintex in Accra and Anloga Junction, Kumasi and showrooms in Adjiringanor-East Legon and Asylum Down, also in Accra.

To reward patrons at the unveiling of the new showroom, the company offered 50 percent discount to buyers during the ceremony.

Management of Eco Furniture Works Limited also rewarded Anim Addo, a TV presenter at Peace FM in Accra, with a set of living room furniture and an amount of GH₵10,000 for his contribution to shaping society with his TV show on UTV.
