Female rapper, Too Spicy, born Christiana Owusu Ansah, has emerged as the overall winner for the season 11 of Mentor Reality Show which came off last weekend in Accra.
After weeks of competition, Too Spicy – with three others – made it to the finale, where she was crowned the overall winner after two rounds of competition for the night. Too spicy, moreover, made history as being the first female rapper to win the Mentor Reality Show.
For emerging as winner, she is entitled to a return ticket abroad, with US$500 spending money, a cheque of GH¢40,000, GH¢100 airtime on media general platforms and other products from sponsors as well. Meanwhile, Marchel, first runner-up, also won GH¢20,000 while the second runner-up, Tiah, also took home GH¢10,000.
In an interview with B&FT, she expressed her joy for being the first female rapper to win, and also promised her fans that she is not going to rest but will take this opportunity to work hard and build her carrier. “I feel so great, God has been good. I didn’t imagine myself to getting this far, especially being a female doing rap in a competition. From here, my fans should expect nothing but greatness. I am going to work hard for Too Spicy to be a household name,” she expressed.
