The bank has been very well noted for its efficient credit administration with education, particularly for women in microfinance at some parts of their operational enclave.
A citation presented to the bank revealed how strong the institution has performed in ensuring financial intermediation over the years, as well as making a positive financial impact in its operational territories.
The citation further states that the bank has shown resilience and resourcefulness through its continuous performance and growth, with the overall results leading to improvement in service delivery which have been recognised.
From a humble beginning, the bank has become a force to reckon with in the rural banking industry; and it has worked so hard to reduce poverty in the catchment areas it operates in through efficient delivery of banking services.
