The Tech in Ghana Special 10th edition conference opens in Accra today, November 29, at the Accra Digital Centre.
The Conference brings together global leaders in the international Tech Eco System, including major multi-national brands alongside continental investors and key players promoting the fastest technology for transformation of the world.
Under the joint sponsorship of Taptap Send, an international remittance company, the 2-day high-tech level event will feature over 50 key industry personalities and Tech companies drawn from across the globe.
This year’s confab, according to Taptap Send, is crucial since it also aims at focusing and strengthening the burgeoning Tech Eco-System in Ghana as a means of projecting the technological input and contribution of young Ghanaians to the sector and general growth.
Described as the leading UK-Ghana platform dedicated to showcasing Ghana’s Tech ecosystem, the meeting provides a market place for exchanging knowledge and developments in the area of international e-transactions and commerce.
Taptpap Send, a digital first electronic money transfer, has been sponsoring the TECH IN GHANA initiative in meeting its objective of leveraging technology for sustainable development.
Held twice in a year, one in the UK and one in Ghana, the previous edition was held in London and featured over 450 speakers – with support and partnerships from the Ministry of Communications and Digitisation, Ghana High Commission, Accra, Ghana Chamber of Commerce, Ghana Investment Promotion Centre and World Bank among others.
