Exhibitors from 40 countries and official ICE delegations from 80 countries will be attending this year’s International Exhibition Of Agricultural Machinery (EIMA 2022) scheduled for Bologna, Italy from 9th to 13th November. Participants and exhibitors will get to share and transfer knowledge, make business partners, and buy or sell agricultural equipment while tapping Italy’s expertise as the world leader in agricultural machinery.

There are 480 foreign exhibiting companies representing 40 countries, and visitors (317,000 in the 2018 edition and 270,400 in the 2021 edition, held under health emergency restrictions) are expected from 160 countries. The ‘Foreign Markets’ and ‘Internationalisation’ offices of FederUnacoma – the federation of manufacturers – is the direct organiser of the exhibition.

Scheduled  also are three ‘focus’ days – 8th, 9th and 10th November –  dedicated to the markets of Latin America and Canada, Asia and Oceania, and Europe respectively. In addition to business meetings, foreign entrepreneurs can take advantage of information tours to find out about new products and conferences, and to examine topics of strategic interest for the various regions of the planet, such as the one promoted by FederUnacoma on the role of new technologies for the rational use of water in response to climate change and desertification processes.

The Bologna exhibition has established itself over the years as the venue not only for business activities linked to the agricultural machinery sector, but also for the dissemination of knowledge on the technological innovations best suited to the various models of agriculture in the different environmental settings.

Powered by the Italian Trade Agency and Italian Embassy in Ghana, EIMA 2022 is an international platform where companies from Italy and Ghana can very well relate and find complementary grounds for cooperation.

This year’s exhibition will include B2B meetings organised through a business-matching platform available for all exhibiting companies, and offers a highly personalised collective stand for countries and great visibility.

There will also be technical visits to company sites for a learning experience in terms of know-how and cutting-edge machinery and technology, with extensive media awareness before, during and after the event.

In all, about 45 participants are attending from West Africa, which includes Ghana, Nigeria, Niger and Côte d’Ivoire.
