Stanbic Bank Ghana has partnered with the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel and Pernod Ricard, brand owners of Mumm Champagne and Martell Cognac, to give their high value clients a champagne and cognac experience at a wine tasting event.

The event was an opportunity for clients of the bank to network as they experienced the exquisite tastes of G.H. Mumm champagne and Martell cognac paired with different types of chocolate.

Speaking at the event, Head of Consumer High Net Worth at Stanbic Bank, Ben Mensah, thanked the guests for their presence and advised that clients should take active steps toward financial planning.

“I am very grateful to Movenpick Ambassador Hotel and the team from G.H. Mumm and Martell for giving our cherished clients such a wonderful experience. It is important that we reflect on the financial times we are in. Although we remain hopeful for better times ahead, we need to understand that hope is not a strategy. It is necessary for all of us to take active steps toward proper financial planning.

“This is one of the moments when we can mix business with pleasure. As we enjoy ourselves, I implore you all to take a look at the products and services we have designed as a bank to suit your needs,” he added.

Chief Executive of Stanbic Bank Ghana, Kwamina Asomaning, assured the clients that the bank remains committed to being the preferred financial service provider across the country.

“I am very grateful to our wonderful clients for sticking with us through thick and thin, and we look forward to many more productive years. At Stanbic Bank, we are committed to remaining the preferred financial services provider that connects to clients locally and across Africa, utilising a wide array of intuitive offerings that make client journeys enjoyable, thereby finding new ways to make dreams possible.

“Tonight, we are here to show you a few of our products to meet your financial needs. Talk to us and we will work harder until we are able to provide you with relevant solutions to your financial challenges,” he stated.

The event included a mini exhibition for property and car owners. Guests were also provided financial education about mortgage financing (both local and international), offshore banking, wealth management, and Affluent and other Consumer and High Net Worth (CHNW) products. Guests had the opportunity to win prizes including bottles of champagne from G.H. Mumm and Martell.

General Manager of Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel Accra, Deborah Lee-Ann Sivertsen, thanked all the partners who helped to celebrate their guests and clients.

“Such avenues offer the opportunity to forge closer ties with our business partners as well as chart innovative ways of creating elevated guest experiences. Our guests are our passion, and we are indeed grateful for their loyalty and continued trust in our brand’s promise of making moments always. Mövenpick, as a brand, has strong roots in culinary arts; and we aim to be ‘the’ destination for food culture that brings people together, enables connections, stirs emotions, and creates magical culinary moments that locals aspire to experience.

“In the coming year, we will be undertaking new developments which seek to ensure the maintenance of our hotel’s vitality, aesthetic pleasure and commercial viability. We are definitely excited about it and cannot wait to look on to the future with our business partners as allies,” she said.
