The ADA is an annual event organised by ICT Watch Magazine, a platform that focuses on growth of the ICT industry in Africa.

The award was preceded by the Nigeria ICT Impact CEO Forum, held a day earlier with the theme ‘Embracing 5G for a more connected Nigeria’. Facilitators presented papers for various topics in 5G; on improving various areas including cyber security, data centres, Fintech, public service and the activation of smart cities.
