All iPhone users and lovers gather here for a brief information session (or we should create a WhatsApp group for you so it makes things easier) don’t worry I’m kidding.

Apple recently released its iOS 16 update for its iPhone users and believe me these new features are amazing I know lots of you will be very glad to get your apple devices updated to this new update but before that, the almighty question is will your iPhone be supported by the new update?

Oh yeah, it is what it is. There’s the need to separate the girls from the women now let’s quickly glance through the apple products that will be able to update to iOS 16; iPhones 8, 8plus, X, XS, XS Max, XR, 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max, 12, 12 Mini, 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max, 13, 13 Mini, 13 Pro, 13 Pro Max. Now if you don’t find yours in the list then you should know that your end is near hahahaha…

Here are other cool security features that come with this new update we all need to know to help put the iPhone and its features to good use. For starters, you get to bring back the battery percentage as it’s been taken off for some time now.

The Passkeys – Apple’s new belief is in the biometric forms of authentication hence Face ID and Touch ID are good-to-go options as compared to passwords for them. This new idea isn’t with just Apple but Google as well and other big tech companies.

Next is Unsend Messages – This feature allows you to recall or unsend imessages/emails that you mistakenly sent via a new tool called Undo Send but a tiny edited will be showing under the messages after you’ve edited the message unsend.

Lockdown Mode – I’m pretty sure you’re wondering what and how this will work as we can all resonate with what the Covid19 pandemic served us during the lockdown. Using Lockdown in this case protects the phones from attacks, such that facetime calls are blocked if you never initiated it, link previews are blocked as well as blockage of a message attachment.

The last thing has to do with CAPATCHAs – I know loads of us find this very thing annoying as we always have to deal with trying to guess how many boxes and trucks are in a picture and all of that but apple says its fixing this rather annoying internet CAPTCHA.

Now that you know all of these features coming up in iOS 16 look sharp, update, and let’s get your feedback.
