Time for a time check. We are well into the third quarter of the year and so the question is, where are you with your plans? Have you managed to achieve any of the goals that you have planned for this year? Have you even started with your plans? Have you mapped out a plan? What is stopping you? Why have you not followed through? Was it a case of you starting and then then stopping? What has held you back? Do you have a vision board? Have you written down your goals that you wish to achieve for the year or at least for the remainder of the year? Do you have a mentor? Do you have an accountability partner? Have you engaged the services of a life coach? What if I told you that you have what it takes? What if I told you that there are people waiting for you? What if I told you that what you are looking for is on the other side of your plan? Would that kick you into gear? This is a call for those who know that they want to pursue their goals, but just haven’t managed to do so.
You know, as a believer I am of the view, that the enemy does everything to try and stop people from trying to pursue their goals and go for what they are destined for, he is aware that the thing that they are destined for will help or even release others. I really believe that there are many people that are sitting on their God given dreams and ambitions. I believe that there are many people that are not following their passions or purpose. I believe that many of them of such people could be reading this today. This is a call for those people to take that leap of faith. Remember that you are here because of the steps that you took a year or even two years ago. Therefore, the question you need to ask yourself is, if you look at the steps that you are taking today then where would you end up tomorrow?
Whether we want to accept it or not, time waits for no man. We all have the same twenty-four hours in the day. It is how you plan those hours that will determine what you ultimately experience in life. Life is precious, however, I would want to add that it doesn’t matter what age you are, you can start at any age. By the time Colonel Saunders had gotten to the age of 69, he had over 1000 recipes turned down, if Colonel Saunders had given up, then you and I wouldn’t have come to know what we have come to enjoy as KFC. At age 69, Colonel Saunders founded KFC. Sarah, in the bible, was 90 when she gave birth to her child Isaac. And do you know how many setbacks that Abraham Lincoln suffered before he became the president of the USA? I want to encourage you not to give up, if you have started and feel like giving up, then don’t, your result is on the other side, for those that haven’t even started I encourage you to. Pursue that vision, get started, I have a feeling you will not regret it.
