The first edition of ‘Decorsign Expo’, an exhibition to celebrate the works of talented interior designers and décor specialists across the globe, has been launched successfully.

The exhibition, which will be held at the Fantasy Dome in Accra from November 10-13, 2022, will bring together a community of local and international designers, architects in the design and creative industries with a vision to celebrate and promote Ghana as a leading global interior design capital.

Founder & Creative Lead, Decorsign, Mandy Louis, in a welcome address, urged stakeholders in the real estate and interior design industry to come on board, noting that the initiative is to create the platform to inspire, empower and drive creativity within their field.

“The aim is to create a platform where all the service deliverers in the value chain – interior decorators and designers, product designers, architects, real estate developers, realtors – can converge to learn new ways of doing things, exhibit their astonishing designs and works, experience the new evolution and technologies in the space and to connect across the globe.

“We seek to introduce you to an intrinsic part of daily life immersed in beauty and class while offering a platform for global interaction. This year, we are organising an expo laced with an exhibition that will inspire, motivate, and propel creativity,” she said.

Deputy Minister for Works and Housing, Abdullah Abanga, commended Decorsign for the initiative, saying it will enhance the country’s development. He further pledged the ministry’s support for the event and other activities they hope to embark on.

“The whole idea is to boost local production; if we are to improve our economy and create more jobs, it is programmes like this that will really enhance our economic development. We want to wish her well …..  We will be available to support the expo in November. If there is anything else, as the ministry responsible for policy in real estate sector, you can come to us,” he emphasised.
